Gong Xi Fai Cai--Nin Chor 2

Sorry guys, I don't know why I blog so rarely nowadays.
Today is Nin Chor 2, actually even the first day of holiday (1 Feb 2010) I was already sooo sooo bored at home. It never happened to me before. Guess it is the state of mind. I was longing to get out of my house but no chance. Where to go la??

So today, I came to my office. Yeah, office. I still park at my usual parking spot in B3(season parking) although there are plenty of spaces everywhere on the street. First thing I did was to bank in a cheque into my bank account. Huat arrrr...even at this quiet time, I need to queue behind an auntie, who looked very satisfied banking the cheque..just like me!

After that I went for a 1 hour foot reflexology. A bit painful but I felt satisfied too! They didn't hiked up the price, everything remain the same!

Then, I came to my office. Aaaah...really satisfied. At least I keep myself entertained for some hours doing something good, not just eating, sleeping or watching silly tv shows without meaning.

Need to help my 2nd sis to bank in a cheque to her special bank later. Hmmm...okay la..I have promised her I will do it.

Listening to RTL Lounge radio while writing these and day dreaming. Life is not too bad after all. Well I should say...I feel blissful now. :)

Stench

Last week I didn't sleep in my house for a few days last week. I was away cats sitting at my friend's house as well we busy to be a jimui on Christmas day. I slept in my room Monday and Tuesday night but I cannot help to realise a stench lingering somewhere in my room. I searched high and low for where the stench was from but I couldn't find.

I couldn't sleep too, of course.

So at 1.30am, something just came to my mind. Few days ago I saw a snake-looking red eyed lizard...and I shut the window very quickly...could it be....that I have squashed it??? I on the lights and checked it out..opened the window and it released more stench. True enough there was a squashed lizard there...chin facing up...and the chin was white. AAAARRRGGHHHHH.


I couldn't sleep.

I waited for mom to wake up and tell her the story. She was kind enough to remove this for me. My mom loves me a lot. I really can't do this alone.

Hi all,
I feel bad that I have stopped writing. I don't know why, I have just started work for like 2 months but I think I am really quite busy :P
I drive to work and back home everyday! Vrrrooomm! Hope I am getting better but parking is still not so great.
Eating here is kind of pricey though. Although this is a nice neighbourhood, I do miss having tasty and cheap food! So I welcome my friends who wants to drive me out for lunch, away from this place!

Easy Banana Bread

Today I baked this. I was thinking it will be a bread but I guess it is actually tastes like banana cake. I didn't have Vanilla Essence so I omit that. I didn't even have a measuring cup so I was just guessing the flour. Luckily it turned out okay. Here is the recipe:

EASY BANANA BREAD


1 1/2 c. self-rising flour

3 bananas, mashed

2 eggs

1/2 stick butter

1 tsp. vanilla

1 c. sugar



Cream together butter, eggs and sugar until smooth. Add bananas and vanilla; beat well. Mix in flour. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour or until golden brown

Pom Pom Genki Kid

I have this in my car since few weeks ago. Got it from Bulan in Plaza Mt Kiara but I think people should be selling this everywhere in Thailand. I think it is from Thailand.

Love the hair. Su Ee's pom pom's purchase reminded me of this. Nice right?

Mid Autumn Festival

This year's Mid Autumn Festival falls on 22 Sept. I think this is a very important festival for family get together. I love this even more than lunar Chinese New Year because it is very relaxed and fun.

This year I helped to cook. I went to market early in the morning. I had no idea how much the fish or vege costs but it ws really fun! I made springrolls that night. Although it was not well made but I had fun making them.

My nieces love playing the lanterns and so did I! Here are pics from that night. We played on my mom's balcony!
