Yesterday I wanted to buy brocolli to with pasta...but you know what...only one very small pathetic looking brocolli in the entire supermarket..which I can manage in half a bite..and it costs RM4.99! So forget it, I got myself a decent looking red cabbage for RM1.70, enough for me to cook for 5 times, seriously!
So I stir fried some minced garlics, red cabbage, an egg and some angel's hair and (cherry tomatoes, romaine, butterhead)--I cooked very quickly for these 3. It was delicious and I was filled with energy for the whole day...which later allowed me to wash my car under the hot sun.
Today I tried to do the same..anyway it is another 4 times to do ...I only cooked very little angel's hair this time. I did a variation...put in a chopped tomato instead of small ones. Still with minced garlic but I put in some dried shrimps...*sizzles sizzles sizzles*...voila..fantastic lunch!
I really love red cabbage so I really have to blog this so more people will appreciate red cabbage. <3

Fassender & Rausch muffins
This weekend is busy busy busy, but I i finished most of my tasks yesterday: buy shampoo, laundry power etc, pump petrol, wash toilet, wash fan, sweep floor, hand wash clothes, wash my car...
Today I decided to use my Fassender & Rausch hot chocolate. I was supposed to make a drink with it...but I was too full to drink it. I bought this expensive chocolate last year May when I visited Berlin.
I want to use it quickly before expiry date, November 2011 :(
I had trouble melting them, so I decided just leave it and not forcing too much. I added some orange peels too.
Just put my usual ingredients, milk, sugar, self-raising flour, eggs...
It turned out okay, very home made and not so pretty.
Few days of breakfasts made in advanced.

I
have not been making muffins for sometime. I still had that Luprak butter from the last baking...which was in February??! Better make it today before it melts away!
Fluffing eggs and sugar together....add milk, melted butter and mix with the flour..
Lay cake cases...
Preheat the oven..
Pour in the mixture carefully
Bake in the oven for about 20minutes...
Tada!! Best served with a cup of light Earl Grey Tea. Yummy! <3
Oven Baked Chicken Wings

I bought some chicken wings on Friday and marinade them with curry powder, some salt, soy sauce, pepper and some ginger.
The next day i pop them into the oven and roast for about 20mins each side.
I bought the wrong chicken wings, they were a bit too big and i did not cut them into portions through the joints, resulted in being too big and a bit too oily for my liking. Also i prefer them to be crispy skin with fall off the bones.
Anyway they were not bad :)
